In the past, the entire annual uniform requirement was completed by the private sector. Now, over 75 percent of the uniform requirement was completed by disabled army personnel at two garment factories situated in Alawwa and Yakkala, under the name Ranaviru Apparel. He told the Daily News while on a visit to the Ranaviru Apparel in Alawwa yesterday. The Commander said that the Army could save a considerable amount of public funds by fulfilling the annual uniform requirements by utilizing the Army's human and physical resources.
